Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945) was the United States President through the Great Depression and most of World War II. Roosevelt changed neutrality laws so that the United States could support the Allies. After Pearl Harbor, FDR directed America's war effort.
